Libois, Napoléon-François

The Rev. Napoléon-François Libois, Catholic priest, was listed as a resident of Hong Kong from 1842 to 1848. He was the Procureur General  of the French Mission.

Libois was born on December 14, 1805. He was ordained on September 18, 1830. He belonged to the Société des Missions étrangères de Paris (Society of Foreign Missions of Paris) 巴黎外方傳教會, which sent him to Macau in 1837. He came to Hong Kong in 1842 and moved to Canton in 1848. He died in Rome on April 6, 1872.
