Fredt Thompson, shipwright, was listed as a resident of Hong Kong from 1846 to 1850. He was employed by shipbuilders, Ross & Perkins in 1850. There was a F. Thompson who worked for ship chandler, Bowra & Co., in the 1840s. The two could be the same person.
