Barnes, Leonard

Leonard Barnes, livery stable keeper, was recorded as a resident of Hong Kong in the 1840s. He partnered with Edmund Boyd in the business of farriers, keeper of livery stable, and harness and coach makers.

Barnes was married to Sara Anne [maiden name unknown] who died in Hong Kong on January 11, 1874 at the age of 50.
