Duddell, George

George Duddell, contractor, merchant and auctioneer, was listed as a resident of Hong Kong from 1846 to 1850. He was the Sheriff's Auctioneer in 1850 as well as a general auctioneer. He had diverse business interests. He was the agent of the Ice Company in 1850. He was very active in land and property speculation. He was the proprietor of the Victoria Theater. Auction Mart, Queen's Road was listed as his address in 1850.
