Reynolds, Edward Grascott

Edward Grascott Reynolds, civil servant, was listed as a resident of Hong Kong in 1850. He was engaged in 1841 as an assistant to the Land Officer, George F. Mylius. The Land Office was reorganized in the middle of May 1842 with Mylius' service terminated. A Land and Road Office was created instead of the Land Office on May 27, 1842. Reynolds became Hong Kong's first Land and Road Inspector on the same day.
