Harao, Sher

Updated October 17, 2014

Sher Harao, baker, was recorded as a resident of Hong Kong in 1842.

Harao was from Bengal.

Harao was robbed on September 10, 1842. The robbers killed his servant Kallay Khan, and severely injured two other Chinese employees, Ah Sam and Ah Po. Three men were subsequently arrested and tried, the outcome of which is unknown to me.
