Kally Khan, servant, was recorded as a resident of Hong Kong in 1842. He worked for a baker from Bengal, Sher Harao. Khan, himself, could also be from Bengal.
Harao's place was robbed on September 10, 1842. The robbers killed Khan and severely injured two other Chinese employees, Ah Sam and Ah Po. Three men were subsequently arrested and tried, the outcome of which is unknown to me.
