Manoel da Silva, policeman, was listed as a resident of Hong Kong from 1850 to 1867. He was a police sergeant in 1850. He retired in 1867. His last held position in the Hong Kong Police Force was inspector. He receive his first pension payment of £57 from the Hong Kong Government on July 1, 1867.
