Dickenson, Henry

Henry Dickenson, mercantile assistant, was listed as a resident of Hong Kong from 1846 to 1850. He was employed by the mercantile firm, Dent & Co., as an assistant between 1846 and 1850. He served as Treasurer in the Standing Committee of the Society for Promoting Christian Knowledge, and the Standing Committee of the Incorporated Society for the Propagation of the Gospel in Foreign Parts in 1850. He sat in the Committee of Management of the Society for Relief of Sick and Destitute Foreigners in 1850.
