The Rev. Andrews Elgquist, Protestant minister, was listed as a resident of Hong Kong from 1850 to 1852. He was a missionary belonging to the Lunds Missionssällskap (Missionary Society of Lund in Sweden) 隆德佈道會 which sent him to China. He arrived at Fuh-chow (Fuzhou) 福州 on August 14, 1850 and came to Hong kong towards the end of the same year. He returned to Europe in 1852.
