Feliciani, Anthony 裴神父 (傅安當)

The Rev. Anthony Feliciani 裴神父 (傅安當), Catholic priest, was listed as a resident of Hong Kong from March 3, 1842 to 1856. He was  made the Procurator of the Sacred Congregation for the Propagation of the Faith on December 11, 1842.  He was appointed Prefect Apostolic of the Catholic Mission in Hong Kong from December 11, 1842 to October 1846, and from August 1850 to June 20, 1855.

Feliciani was born in Marano, Italy on October 4, 1804. Variant names: Antonius Feliciani. He becam a member of the Order of Friars Minor 方濟會 in 1823 and was sent to Macau in 1833. He came to Hong Kong together with the Rev. Theodorus Joset in 1842. We went to Shandong, China in 1856, and to Shanxi in 1859. He was the Vicar General in Shanxi. He died in Shanxi on March 17, 1866.
