Johnson, John

The Rev. John Johnson, missionary, was listed as a resident of Hong Kong from 1848 to 1850. He belonged to the American Baptist Missionary Union which sent him and his wife, Anna A. Stevens, to Hong Kong in 1848. Gough Street was listed as his address in Hong Kong in 1850.

Johnson was married to Anna A. Stevens. Born in Eastport, Maine in 1822, Stevens died in Hong Kong in June 1848.
