Dyer Ball, surgeon, was recorded as a resident of Hong Kong from 1843 to August 1845. He was a medical missionary belonged to the American Board of Commissioners for Foreign Missions and as sent to China in 1838. He left Hong Kong in August 1845 to Canton.
