William Emeny, sail-maker, baker and confectioner, innkeeper, was listed as a resident of Hong Kong from 1846 to 1855. He ran the Phoenix Inn, which was located at Queen's Road. He was a common juror in 1854 and 1855. Queen's Road was listed as his address between 1846 and 1850.
One of the investors in Emeny's bakery was John Smithers, Clerk and Usher of Supreme Court.
